A bespoke storefront for Pacifica Coffee, built on Rails: real product catalog, real cart, real checkout, real admin panel. Every screen was custom.

Building real e-commerce from scratch in 2015 was the wrong choice. It’s the wrong choice now too. But it was the right exercise. You only learn what a system actually needs by building one end to end. Catalog, cart, checkout, fulfillment, admin: the surface area of a real operational tool, in miniature.
